Sleepless in Oklahoma..

I've been having problems sleeping lately. Last week I stayed in bed for about five days because I was miserably sick and this week I'm back into my daily routine.. except for sleeping good at night. I know I'm doing all the wrong things (watching TV while laying in bed, reading in bed..blah blah blah). I'm tired during the day and ready to go to bed right at 7, and I don't go to bed because I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night. Last night I feel asleep after laying in bed for almost 2 hours! And that was lights out-TV off-no book laying in bed. It's about 11:30 and my body doesn't want to go to bed.

Activities of the day:
  • Wake up and leave for school by 8
  • School from 8 am to 3 pm
  • Sweaty weightlifting (athletics)
  • Home before 3:30, I relax with the family but I don't sleep
  • Dinner 6:30pm and then "Teen Mom 2"

Now it's 11:40 pm and I'm enjoying an episode of "What Not To Wear". I don't want to lay in bed for two or three hours until I fall asleep..and I don't want to wake up every other hour... I don't know maybe I'll have to resort to Benidryl or Tylonol PM..
